I am back home after an incredible trip. Absolutely wonderful stuff just keeps happening on this WWII adventure. We flew out of Amsterdam at 2 pm on Friday, except Bruce and Jackie somehow were on a different flight scheduled to leave at 1:55, but their flight left over a hour late. We met up again in Rejchavick, Iceland for our flight to Minneapolis. Pretty good flights until we got over the South end of Hudson Bay in Canada. Very bouncy until we were back over land. Then it got real bouncy over Lake Michigan and continued all the way to Minneapolis.
Since we had already been up for over 18 hours we spent the night in Bloomington before heading home today.
This WWII adventure we started in June and restarted in September just continues to bless us. What wonderful people we have met, and what incredible memories we have.
We have been truly blessed.
