This morning we left our Airbnb in Boxtel and headed to Amsterdam. After a few trips around the airport we were finally able to get ourselves to the Car Rental Return! Thank goodness for “Recalculating”! While walking through the airport we needed to stop for Terry to get his ice cream fix!
We took the train into Amsterdam Centraal which was very easy to figure out. And after a brief walk we were at our hotel. The amount of bikes over here is astonishing! Here is a bike parking ramp!
After some lunch Terry and I ventured out and walked the streets. This area is called Dam Square and there were several performers. This one was juggling while riding a unicycle!
After some tapas for dinner we walked to the Anne Frank House. Words simply cannot explain. To be where she lived in hiding for more than two years was very moving. We were in the actual Special Annex and saw her original diary.
We have one more day here tomorrow before we head for home.
