We flew Minot to MSP and then on to Amsterdam. The flights were basically smooth with a little turbulence which when flying over the ocean always causes me a little anxiety. At one point I told myself that 8 hours of slight turbulence is nothing compared to the 44-day trip our father took over on a ship!
So we landed at 1:00 am Minot time which is 8:00 am Amsterdam time and so we were at the beginning of our second day without really having a night time!
